The Iftar Edit
The Iftar Edit
Across the Emirates, Ramadan reshapes the evening. At sunset, the fast is broken, a moment of stillness that gives way to generosity at the table.
From desert landscapes and heritage courtyards to waterfront majlis settings and contemporary dining rooms, The Iftar Edit considers how hospitality interprets this ritual through place, craft and atmosphere. Each setting reflects its surroundings, yet all return to the same principle: intention, reflection and shared presence.
Rooted in the Emirates, shaped by those who gather here, this is The Iftar Edit.
Under Desert Skies | Zuma at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert
For Iftar, the pop up by Zuma at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert unfolded against dunes and firelight at dusk. As the desert softened and lanterns began to glow, the evening balanced Zuma’s signature precision with the elemental stillness of Al Wadi. Smoke, sand and flame framed the gathering, creating an Iftar defined by atmosphere, restraint and the quiet shift from day to night.
